About the Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for a Project Structural Geologist to join our Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. In this role, you will report to the Senior Structural Geologist and work on an 8:6 roster.

Your focus will be on collecting, analysing, and interpreting structural geology data to support safe and efficient mining.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Conducting structural mapping, logging, and data collection to build accurate 3D structural models.

Interpreting and testing structural and lithological data to guide safe and efficient mine development.

Designing mine infrastructure cover drilling programs and employing predictive approaches to inform future mining activities.

Collaborating with geology and geotechnical teams to ensure clear communication of structural insights.

Mentoring and training geologists, engineers, and technicians to strengthen structural geology capability.

Upholding safety standards, leading by example, and contributing to HSEC compliance and culture.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have some post-graduation experience as a structural geologist, preferably in site-based positions with exposure to underground mining environments.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

A tertiary qualification in geological science or a related discipline.

Experience conducting structural and geological core logging and face scanning.

Proficiency in structural data collection, interpretation, and 3D modelling.

Preferably, some expertise with mining and geological software packages such as PointStudio, Geobank, Leapfrog, Deswik, Gem4D, and Rock Mapper.

A current C-class manual driver’s licence.
