We are seeking an experienced
Product Manager
to take ownership of key product categories and drive their commercial success across Australia and New Zealand.
This role is ideal for someone currently working in
consumer electronics, robotics, smart home or technology distribution
, who understands how to successfully launch and grow products in retail and channel markets.
The Opportunity
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for
the complete product lifecycle in Australia and New Zealand
, from product introduction and launch through to ongoing commercial performance and eventual product exit.
You will work closely with
international brand partners, internal sales teams and marketing
, ensuring our products are successfully positioned, launched and sold through the Australian retail market.
This role sits at the centre of the business and plays a critical part in
driving product success and brand growth
.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the
full product lifecycle
for assigned brands in Australia
Lead the
launch of new consumer technology products
into the Australian market
Work closely with
sales teams to drive retail adoption and strong sell-through
Collaborate with marketing on
product positioning, messaging and launch campaigns
Engage regularly with
international supplier head offices
to understand product roadmaps and lifecycle strategies
Provide insights and feedback from the Australian market to global brand partners
Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to maximise sales and profitability
Support forecasting and supply planning to ensure strong product availability
What We’re Looking For
✔
5+ years’ experience in Product Management
, ideally within consumer electronics or technology products
✔ Experience managing
product launches and full product lifecycles
✔ Strong commercial awareness and product strategy capability
✔ Experience working cross-functionally with
sales and marketing teams
✔ Ability to work closely with
international suppliers and brand partners
✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Mandarin / Chinese language capability is highly advantageous
, given regular interaction with overseas suppliers.
