About the Role

As a

Data Engineer

, you’ll design and manage data pipelines and integrations across multiple platforms, helping our clients make smarter, data-driven decisions.

The role is based with out client on a full time permanent basis. The Data Engineer will be fully supported by the IT Manager, and work closely with Analysts, Developers, and business stakeholders to ensure the reliability, scalability, and quality of data solutions that underpin enterprise performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and manage robust

ETL/ELT data pipelines

.

Develop and maintain

data models, integrations, and warehouse solutions

using Azure technologies.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.

Support data visualisation and reporting initiatives using

Power BI and DAX

.

Optimise data flow and automation through scripting in

C#, Python, and PySpark

.

Ensure best practices for

data governance, quality, and security

across environments.

About You

You are an experienced data professional with a passion for solving complex problems through smart data engineering. You balance technical expertise with business awareness and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Proven expertise in

ETL/ELT pipeline design and management

Advanced skills in

SQL Server

.

Hands-on experience with

Azure Data Factory

and

Databricks

Strong coding proficiency in

C#, Python, and PySpark

Experience building

Excellent

Bachelor’s degree in

Computer Science, IT

, or a related discipline.

Minimum

5 years’ experience
