6ixty8ight is a leading fashion brand known for its trendy, youthful, and comfortable apparel and lingerie. We are embarking on a significant digital transformation by migrating our direct-to-consumer (DTC) platform to Shopify Plus. We seek a technically adept and commercially driven E-commerce Executive to become the operational owner of our brand.com, ensuring a seamless transition and optimizing performance post-launch.
Job Purpose
To be the day-to-day owner and operator of the 6ixty8ight brand.com website. You will be the key business user during and after the migration from Magento to Shopify Plus, responsible for its daily management, commercial performance, customer experience, and ongoing optimization. This role is critical in translating business needs into technical requirements and maximizing the potential of our new DTC platform.
Key Responsibilities
1. Platform Migration \& Implementation (Primary Initial Focus)
Act as the primary liaison between the business, external development agency, and IT during the Shopify Plus migration project.
Manage the product data migration (SKUs, images, descriptions, inventory) from Magento to Shopify.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new features, site functionality, and integrations (payment gateways, 3PL, CRM).
Assist in configuring key Shopify apps and the checkout experience to meet regional requirements.
2. Day-to-Day Site Operations \& Merchandising
Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle on-site: uploading new collections, creating compelling product content, and retiring old items.
Execute daily site merchandising updates, including homepage banners, collection sorting, and promotional campaigns.
Monitor and manage site inventory levels in coordination with the logistics team to ensure accuracy.
Own the discount code and promotion engine within Shopify, aligning with marketing calendars.
3. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) \& Performance
Monitor key site health metrics daily: site speed, uptime, mobile responsiveness, and checkout funnel performance.
Use analytics (Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics 4) to identify drop-off points and propose A/B tests to improve UX and conversion.
Ensure a flawless customer journey from landing page to order confirmation and post-purchase emails.
4. Technical Troubleshooting \& Backend Management
Become a super-user of the Shopify Plus admin; manage all backend configurations.
Perform basic troubleshooting for site issues and liaise with developers/Shopify Plus support for resolution.
Manage integrations with third-party tools for reviews (e.g., Yotpo), loyalty, live chat, and analytics.
5. Reporting \& Analysis
Generate daily/weekly performance reports focusing on DTC KPIs: Traffic, Conversion Rate (CVR), Average Order Value (AOV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and site-specific return rates.
Provide insights to differentiate brand.com performance from marketplace performance and recommend channel-specific strategies.
Who are we looking for?
Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce operations , specifically managing a brand.com website.
Platform Expertise: Mandatory, hands-on experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus. Experience with a platform migration (especially from Magento, WooCommerce, or other platforms to Shopify) is a significant advantage .
Technical \& Analytical Aptitude: Strong proficiency with e-commerce analytics platforms (GA4), understanding of basic HTML/CSS, and experience with key Shopify apps. Must be data-driven and adept at using Excel/Sheets for analysis.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage technical projects, coordinate with developers, and conduct thorough UAT.
Linguistic Skills: Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese). Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong plus for liaising with regional teams and developers.
Attributes: Highly detail-oriented, excellent problem-solver, proactive, and able to bridge business needs with technical execution. A keen eye for UX and design.
Experience in the fashion/beauty/lifestyle retail sector.
Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
Familiarity with omnichannel concepts (e.g., BOPIS) and basic understanding of e-commerce P\&L drivers.
Experience with a headless or composable commerce approach is a bonus.
