This Position reports to:
Production Engineering Manager Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABBâs operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is: on site
This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in Mexico.
You will be mainly accountable for:* Assist in Product Development: Collaborate with the manufacturing and other teams on new process designs and transitions into production.
Process Improvement: Help implement and evaluate process improvement projects on the shop floor, using lean principles like Kaizen, 5S, and VSM.
Data Analysis: Perform data entry, analyze customer feedback, and assist with documentation to improve product quality and performance.
Work Instructions: Update and maintain work instructions and visual aids to ensure alignment with current production processes.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)* Currently studying in 7th or 8th Semester in a Materials, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering Degree or related field.
Business Conversational English
Strong written communication and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Basic knowledge of technical drawing or CAD tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD preferred)
