About the role
Our client, a large commercial organisation with offices in Sydney CBD and Parramatta, has embarked on a Cloud migration journey and is looking for further Azure DevOps skilled Engineers to join their Cloud Platform Services team.
You will bring your Azure, DevOps, IaC and Kubernetes skills to work on this large migration project and assist with maintaining their multi-cloud protected environment.
What you'll do
Work closely with Solutions Architects, Development and Engineering teams to advise on optimal DevOps tools and infrastructure to support Cloud services
Implement cloud infrastructure, systems and application solutions and services with focus on CI/CD and automation tasks to treat Infrastructure as Code.
Create infrastructure deployment templates (Terraform)
Manage tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub workflows according to best practices.
Automate, monitor and secure cloud environments to improve performance and efficiency
Assist with troubleshooting technical issues across the platform
What we'd love to see
5+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer
Strong knowledge across Azure Cloud - GCP knowledge a plus
Strong hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes and Azure Services.
Solid development / Automation skills (Azure CLI, ARM, YAML/JSON, Python, Bash, JavaScript, etc.)
Analyse trends in system performance, cost, capacity and reliability
Experience working in an Agile environment
Excellent communication skills with a proactive, customer-first attitude.
Relevant Industry certifications highly regarded
This initial 12 month contract has potential to extend. You can work from either the Sydney CBD or Parramatta office.
