About the Role
Join a large commercial organisation in the middle of a major cloud migration, and play a key role in how their platforms are built, deployed and operated. This is a Senior DevOps role within the Cloud Platform Services team, focused on uplift, automation and repeatable delivery at scale.
You’ll bring strong Azure, DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Kubernetes capabilities to support the migration program, while helping maintain a secure, protected multi-cloud environment.
What you'll do
Work closely with Solutions Architects, Development and Engineering teams to advise on optimal DevOps tools and infrastructure to support Cloud services
Build, automate and operate cloud infrastructure and services using Infrastructure as Code
Develop and maintain ARM and Terraform templates/modules for consistent, repeatable deployments
Design, implement and improve CI/CD pipelines across Azure DevOps and GitHub
Embed monitoring, security and operational controls to lift platform performance and resilience
Troubleshoot complex issues, drive root-cause fixes and uplift platform standards
What we'd love to see
5+ years experience as a
DevOps Engineer
Solid experience across
Azure Cloud Services
Strong hands-on experience with IaC (
Terraform
),
CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes (AKS) and Azure Services (APIM, etc).
Solid scripting/automation capability (Azure CLI, ARM, YAML/JSON, Python, Bash, JavaScript, etc.)
Comfortable in Agile environments with strong collaboration across product and engineering teams
Clear communication, pragmatic thinking, and a proactive, customer-first approach
