What you’ll do

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with strong .NET and C# skills to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Selenium, SpecFlow, CI/CD integration, and various testing types. Strong understanding of QA lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and backend technologies like SQL Server and Entity Framework.

Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with active security clearance. This requirement ensures that all team members are cleared to handle sensitive information and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute unit, integration, system, regression, and performance tests

Build automation testing solutions for various types of UI tests (Visual Design, Functionality, Accessibility, Usability, Performance, and Compliance)

Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium and SpecFlow

Develop and execute test cases covering Regression, Compatibility, Accessibility, and Non-Functional Testing

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools like TFS, PowerShell, and Git

Collaborate closely with developers and QA teams in Agile environments to ensure quality delivery

Participate in all stages of the QA lifecycle, from test case creation to automation and pipeline integration

Work with backend systems including Entity Framework (EF), Dapper, ADO.NET, and SQL Server

Communicate defects clearly and collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues

Here’s what you need:

Minimum 5 years of software development and testing experience, with at least 2–3 years in Regression, Compatibility, and Accessibility Testing

Strong hands-on experience with .NET development (Framework/Core)

Proficient in C# programming and Selenium WebDriver for test automation

Experience with SpecFlow, unit testing frameworks (e.g., MSTest, xUnit, NUnit), and BDD/TDD methodologies

Deep understanding of Unit, Integration, System, Smoke, Functional, and Non-Functional Testing

Familiarity with version control tools like Git and test lifecycle tools like TFS/Azure DevOps

Solid understanding of OOP principles, N-layered architecture, and microservices

Working knowledge of SQL Server / T-SQL and data access technologies like EF, Dapper, and ADO

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, test integration, and DevOps practices

Knowledge of serverless computing and scripting with PowerShell

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Self-motivated team player with a strong "can-do" attitude and the ability to work independently or in a team

Australian citizenship with active baseline security clearance at minimum
