We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Center \& Public Cloud Services Engineer to manage, support, and optimize our hybrid IT infrastructure. This role requires expertise in both traditional data center technologies and modern public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of our enterprise infrastructure while enabling smooth cloud migration and hybrid environment operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Center Operations:

Manage physical and virtual servers, storage systems, networking, and power/cooling infrastructure.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software in on-prem data centers.

Ensure data center assets are maintained according to company standards and security policies.
Public Cloud Services:

Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Implement best practices for cloud security, cost optimization, and performance.

Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Monitoring \& Incident Management:

Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting across cloud and data center environments.

Participate in on-call rotations and incident response for infrastructure issues.
Perform root cause analysis and continuous improvement after outages or incidents.
Required:
6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, including data center and public cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage systems (SAN/NAS), and backup solutions.
Proficiency with at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with Linux and Windows Server administration.
Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
Preferred:
Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Associate Engineer).
Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira) and monitoring platforms (Datadog, Nagios, etc.).
