Summary: As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure. A typical day involves utilizing your knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment, as well as working with cloud technologies and container orchestration. You will also focus on ensuring that systems are secure against potential threats while building and testing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines. Roles \& Responsibilities: DevOps \& Infrastructure as Code (IaC): • Design, develop, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools. • Implement IaC scanning tools (e.g., Checkov, tfsec, Snyk) to ensure compliance and security best practices. • Automate CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and infrastructure provisioning. • Optimize cloud environments for scalability and performance. AWS Security \& Compliance: • Design, implement, and manage AWS Security Control Policies (SCPs) to enforce governance and security across AWS accounts. • Secure AWS environments by implementing IAM policies, network security, encryption, and monitoring best practices. • Conduct threat modeling, risk assessment, and security audits across AWS resources. • Deploy and manage security tools such as AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, and AWS Config for continuous monitoring. • Ensure compliance with GxP, GDPR, HIPAA, and other regulatory frameworks relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing. Automation \& Monitoring: • Develop automated security controls and remediations for cloud environments. • Integrate AWS services with SIEM tools to enhance security monitoring and incident response. • Implement robust logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch, AWS Config, and third-party tools. • Develop and maintain security and infrastructure documentation to support audits and compliance reviews. Required Skills: • 8+ years of experience in AWS DevOps, security, and automation in a pharmaceutical or regulated industry. • Must-have expertise in: o Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform, CloudFormation. o IaC scanning tools – Checkov, tfsec, Snyk, AWS Config. o AWS Security Control Policies (SCPs) and governance best practices. o AWS IAM, KMS, security groups, VPC security, and data protection strategies. o AWS security tools – GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector, Macie, and WAF. o CI/CD and DevOps Automation – GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, Ansible. o AWS Networking \& Security – VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Direct Connect, WAF, Shield. • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical compliance (GxP, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST). • Hands-on experience in threat modeling, vulnerability management, and cloud security posture management (CSPM). • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in DevOps. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
