About the Role

As a Quality Engineering Lead you will be working with a team of diverse experts serving clients in The Netherlands. The Work

As a Quality Engineer at Accenture, you work together with other ambitious, talented colleagues in multi-disciplinary teams, serving clients in the Netherlands and possibly abroad. You bring proven experience in setting up automation tools, developing test scripts, and testing complex IT systems, ensuring that the solutions delivered are robust and reliable. However, that is not enough for you, you would like to grow further as an expert with in-depth technical knowledge who is always the first to know about the latest technologies and tools, and who is happy to give a demo to colleagues about that new innovative test methodology you have developed in which you have combined Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation to help your colleagues grow in their field as well. You will become the Quality Engineer who works closely with developers in multidisciplinary DevOps teams and who ensures that the quality of the high-tech solution you implement is of the highest level. In addition, you will help shape our Dutch and international Quality Engineering community by organizing educational and fun events.

As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of Accenture Quality Engineering Services, part of Accenture Technology, a global consulting, technology and outsourcing group within Accenture. As an engineer and specialist within our group, your development is central through a personal learning path / curriculum. This way, you will have the freedom to choose which industry interests you most, at the intersection of IT: financial services, communications, media, high-tech, products, resources, health and public services.

People You will be working on-site or remote in a variety of teams for our clients in different industries.

Processes You will be focusing on quality improvement, transformation and intelligent (AI) test automation

Technology In your role, you will get in touch with the latest technologies to help our clients achieve their desired outcome.

Job Qualification

Here’s what you’ll need

You are residing in The Netherlands and speak Dutch

Bachelor or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or other related studies.

At least 5 years of proven experience in Quality Engineering

Experience with creating test cases in a structured way by applying test techniques

Knowledge of tools used by testers or perhaps even experience with selecting, implementing and using new (test) tools.

Experience integrating test automation into the CI/CD pipeline

Experience in analyzing and fixing failing tests or bugs during daily deployment and test cycles

Experience in performing integration tests

A passion for quality engineering and technology, being creative and eager to learn.

Bonus points if you have

Certifications, these are always a plus (TMAP, ISTQB, Tricentis Tosca)

Proven experience with one or more of the following tools / programming languages: Tricentis Tosca, Selenium IDE, Robot Framework, Jenkins, Java, Phyton, Perl, Angular, Javascript / Typescript, SQL, JIRA.
