We are seeking a skilled and motivated Red Hat OpenShift Engineer to design, build, and maintain OpenShift clusters on-premises within a private cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and enterprise-grade OpenShift deployments. This role is critical to enabling scalable, secure, and resilient container platforms for modern application workloads.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for architecting and managing OpenShift environments that support mission-critical applications. This position requires strong technical skills, collaboration across teams, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters on-premises in private cloud environments.
Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of OpenShift with enterprise systems.
Automate cluster provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
Configure and manage OpenShift components including Operators, Ingress Controllers, Storage Classes, and Service Mesh.
Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery capabilities of OpenShift clusters.
Monitor cluster health and performance using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
Implement and enforce security policies, RBAC, and compliance standards within the OpenShift environment.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for OpenShift-related issues.
Document architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
Stay current with Red Hat OpenShift updates, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Required Experience/Qualifications:
Proven experience deploying and managing Red Hat OpenShift in on-premises environments.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes, containerization (Docker), and microservices architecture.
Experience with Linux system administration, preferably RHEL.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Pulumi.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls) and storage solutions (NFS, Ceph, etc.).
Experience with monitoring and logging tools integrated with OpenShift.
Red Hat certifications (e.g., EX280, EX288) are a plus.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications:
Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud OpenShift deployments.
Familiarity with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM) and Quay.
Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
