DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer - Herndon, VA. CI/CD Implementation and Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline integration and deployment processes. Utilize AWS services, including CodeCommit, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline, to continuously improve the efficiency of these processes. DevOps Server Management: Manage and maintain IIS servers, ensuring security and performance optimization. Provide and clear POAandM (Plan of Action and Milestones) evidence in a timely manner. Codebase Migration and Management: Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality and manage version control systems, including migrating code from GitHub to AWS. Implement best practices for code organization and documentation. Support the DevOps operations in creating new features based on project requirements while ensuring all developments are 508 compliant. Identify and resolve software bugs. Provide input in all aspects of FLCD. Participate in software development activities as needed. Work with the following: AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline; AWS CI/CD Services, Git, Bash, PHP, CodeIgniter, MYSQL, JavaScript, IIS, PowerShell; Section 508 Compliance, POAandM (Plan of Action and Milestones), Peer review processes and code quality assessment, Pipeline performance tuning. Other similar professional duties as assigned. M-F; 40 hrs/week. $100,000.00/annum.
