About The Job
As a Junior Developer, you will work closely with other developers and support staff. Your main job will be to help develop and support our new C# communications platform. This platform will be responsible for the handling of critical alarm signals. Your responsibilities will include:
Building microservices and infrastructure for a high availability messaging platform.
Creating and maintaining APIs for managing the platform.
Working as part of an Agile development team.
Debugging, testing, and verification.
Providing 3rd line support to 1st line support teams.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations in software designs.
Following best practices for secure software development.
Researching and evaluating new technologies to improve our products.
Documenting design specifications, test procedures, and project updates.
About You
1–2 years of experience in software development, or strong skills shown in a project portfolio.
Knowledge of .NET development and modern software development patterns and practices.
Skills in C#, Python, SQL, and NoSQL.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desirable Skills
Work tracking platforms (such as Azure DevOps or Jira)
Build automation tools (like Azure DevOps or Jenkins)
Cloud systems (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Automated testing (unit, integration, or GUI tests)
Kubernetes and containerisation
Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
Modern web frameworks (Angular, React, Svelte, Vue.js)
Multiple programming languages
Messaging systems (Kafka or similar)
