to hire a
Python Engineer.
This role involves leading the design, development, and optimization of large-scale, high-quality application systems while collaborating across teams and driving technical excellence.
The role will start off as a contract role.
The Job
Responsibilities
Partner with product, design, operations, and infrastructure teams to build innovative application features.
Develop custom user interfaces using modern technologies and best practices.
Review, refine, and optimize code for quality, performance, and efficiency.
Design scalable, high-performance systems for complex applications.
Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks and lead major technical-debt reduction efforts.
Work across multiple programming languages and tech stacks.
Take ownership of components or systems with deep, end-to-end understanding.
Requirements:
Possesses more than
6 years
of experience building large-scale, high-quality, reliable applications.
Strong communication skills and deep knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST, and modern development practices.
Proven ability to lead projects, teams, and major technical initiatives.
Skilled in code quality improvements through testing, reviews, monitoring, and data-driven problem solving.
Experience with
Python, GraphQL, Next.js, Redis
, relational databases, and web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, ES6+, TypeScript).
