Take full ownership of the New Zealand retail business, achieving or exceeding sales and profit targets
Champion a high-performance trading and service culture across Store Managers, District Managers, and Retail Back Office (RBO) teams
Inspire and motivate field and back-office teams to deliver outstanding commercial results and strengthen brand equity
Collaborate closely with the Retail Consumer Excellence Director and peer leaders to build a world-class, unified retail operation
Implement and uphold PAC Consumer Excellence standards across all retail and RBO processes
Continuously identify and execute local process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce complexity, and boost field productivity
Key Responsibilities
Elevate stores to world-class performance through excellence in the 5 P’s — People, Product, Premises, Processes, and Profit
Coach Store Managers and build strong leadership pipelines to support business growth and succession
Ensure an exceptional consumer experience while maximising profitability across the store portfolio
Control OPEX, inventory, shrinkage, and stock accuracy in line with targets and budgets
Analyse KPIs and market trends to identify new commercial opportunities and make strategic recommendations
Set clear expectations, measure performance rigorously, and provide consistent feedback and accountability
Ensure full compliance with global standards for marketing, visual merchandising, and training
Partner with Country Manager NZ, HR, VM, Brand, SCM, and B\&M teams to guarantee seamless store support and service excellence
Partner with the Retail Expansion team to evaluate new site opportunities and lead retail input into location strategy
Drive adherence to all Retail Consumer Excellence policies, adapting to local market needs where applicable

Internal: Senior Director DTC, Director Retail Consumer Excellence, Consumer Excellence Team, B\&M, Retail Operations, Real Estate, Sales Academy, Store Development, Country Manager NZ, Finance, Logistics, Retail HR, and Brand teams
External: Customers and local retail partners
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proven retail leadership experience (10+ years), managing multi-store and district operations with strong commercial results
Exceptional people leadership — able to inspire, coach, and develop high-performing teams
Commercially astute with a deep understanding of P\&L, budgeting, and business analytics
Strategic thinker with the agility to adapt and execute in a dynamic retail environment
Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills
Strong operational discipline and a passion for retail excellence
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management systems
Mobility and flexibility to travel across New Zealand
Fluency in English
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 10 years’ experience in retail and trade marketing, ideally within apparel, fashion, footwear, or FMCG sectors
At least 5 years in senior retail operations leadership with direct accountability for sales, service, and inventory control
