Our federal government client, the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) is seeking a Senior Web Developer (React) to be responsible for front-end development using React.
Selection Criteria
Essential
1. 1.5+ years working as a software engineer in the ICT industry with expertise in JavaScript and User interface (UI) frameworks, particularly React and TypeScript and component-based architecture.
2. Experience with Git, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, testing frameworks, particularly Jest.
3. Strong understanding of responsive design, performance optimisation, and user experience (UX) principles, including experience creating user interface (UI) and working directly with UI/UX designers on UI's.
4. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
6. Experience with agile working and test-driven development, including use of Git and JIRA.
Desirable
1. Experience working with Java servers and Spring boot.
2. Experience working on large data projects and experience with technologies such as Elasticsearch/Solr, Kafka, NoSQL databases.
3. Experience with integrating RESTful APIs or any of the following technologies/frameworks GraphQL, Nifi, Postgres, Neo4j, or IIR.
4. Experience with Azure Cloud and Linux operating systems.
