Become a Key Player as a Search Platform DevOps

You will help increase capacity and reliability of large-scale search and ML infrastructure, enabling the organization to launch GenAI and ML services globally. You will work closely with architects and engineers across product and platform teams to automate lifecycles and improve operational resilience. This is a Hybrid role supporting a 12-month contract engagement (start 04/01/2026, end 04/01/2027).

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team

Operate at the intersection of engineering and operations for search and SDC products with automation-first mindset

Design, build, and run large-scale stateful and stateless distributed systems (search infrastructure, messaging, ingestion, SQL/no-SQL databases)

Work with container runtime systems such as Kubernetes and related orchestration services

Handle large inference clusters and support end-to-end lifecycle for GenAI/ML services

Build and maintain deployment frameworks, scripts, tracers, monitors, and self-healing/auto-remediation tools

Maintain documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for deployments and operations

Research and evaluate emerging ML and AIOps technologies for platform adoption

Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role

B.S. or M.S. in Engineering

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant industry experience

Strong understanding of operating systems and distributed systems

Experience designing and operating large-scale deployments and cloud or virtualization infrastructures (AWS, Azure, or similar)

Linux system design and administration experience in production

Familiarity with container runtime environments (e.g., Kubernetes)

Experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, Git, Perforce, etc.)

Strong programming and automation skills (Python, Ruby, Go, Java, Shell)

Here’s What Else Might Help You Out

Experience with GPUs and large-scale inference clusters

Exposure to NoSQL and streaming technologies (Elasticsearch, Kafka, HBase, AWS SQS, Apache Spark)

Experience with web services, orchestration services, and real-time data ingestion

Prior involvement in MLOps, AIOps, or launching GenAI services

Pay Range

$56.34 - $70.42/hour
