We’re a fast-paced, high-volume digital marketing agency seeking a motivated Entry-Level WordPress Developer to join our team.

Advantage Media Partners is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with project managers and clients to develop responsive WordPress websites, with occasional work on other platforms. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining fully responsive WordPress websites using Divi, making live edits as needed, and handling front-end development tasks using HTML and CSS3.

You’ll also assist with implementing on-page SEO best practices, including optimizing page structure, metadata, and content layout to improve search visibility. A strong understanding of best design and development practices is essential, as you’ll collaborate to create optimized, user-friendly web pages that drive results.

What You’ll Do:

Work closely with project managers and clients on website projects

Build and maintain fully responsive WordPress pages using Divi

Make live edits for clients

Handle front-end tasks using HTML and CSS3

Collaborate with clients and project managers to create WordPress pages

Implement on-page SEO best practices such as optimizing title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure, and internal linking

Ensure pages follow SEO-friendly structure and performance standards

Assist with website audits and SEO updates as needed

Must-Have Skills:

1–2 years of hands-on WordPress experience

Strong HTML/CSS knowledge

Basic understanding of on-page SEO principles

A good design sense and attention to detail

Excellent customer communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-turnaround environment

Willingness to commute — this is an in-office position

Bonus Points For:

Experience with page builders such as Divi or Elementor

Familiarity with JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as jQuery or React

Knowledge of cPanel, hosting environments, or server-side troubleshooting

Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel

Experience using Git repositories

WordPress child theme development

WordPress plugin development

Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush

Compensation \& Benefits:

$18–$24/hr, based on experience
