What you’ll do
Contribute to innovation, lessons learned and best practices with a view of increasing the capability maturity of the IT infrastructure, leveraging technology to improve the member experience and increasing internal business efficiencies
Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements, analyzing and verifying requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to applicable standards
Architect and develop information systems using methodologies that are in conformance to prevailing and applicable professional development standards
Maintains existing systems to ensure currency with respect to regulatory compliance, underlying platform changes, business changes and other factors

What you’ve got
A post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Intermediate knowledge of Android application development, with experience in both Kotlin and Java
Hands-on production experience using Jetpack Compose, including UI development and state management
Strong understanding of testing practices, including unit testing, UI testing, and testable architecture
Knowledge of security and compliance practices, including secure storage, network security configuration, and familiarity with OWASP MASVS best practices
Experience with version control and CI/CD processes, including Git workflows (PRs, code reviews) and pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps for building, testing, and distribution
A basic understanding of the financial services industry (considered an asset)
