About the role:
Reporting to the DevQA Engineer Manager, the DevQA Engineer is responsible for the software quality assurance of slot games, working closely with game developers. We’re looking for a DevQA Engineer for interactive game testing to join our North Ryde Studio and make sure our product quality continues to shine. If you are a self-motivated person who enjoys the complexities of working in a multidiscipline creative environment and slot game testing experience, then we love to meet you.
What you will be doing:
Examining/analysing game testing requirements and identifying the different test cases.
Participating in requirements understanding, capturing test scenarios and executing tests cases according to a test plan.
Performing game functional testing, integration testing, compliance testing according to jurisdiction requirements and regression testing.
Demonstrating complete ownership of the project from kick-off to hand-off.
Consistently performing to high standards of accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness.
Performing the defect management and coordination efficiently.
Work closely with Developers and Game Designers to understand feature requirements and resolve defects.
Contributing to test automation efforts to improve efficiency.
Continuously monitoring and enhancing software product quality.
Working with our external QA team to analyse and reproduce the issues.
Other duties/projects as assigned.
Skills/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
Familiarity with web testing frameworks.
Knowledge of slot game testing.
Knowledge/experience in Browserstack and web-based automated testing.
Knowledge/experience in selenium web test framework.
Knowledge/experience in documenting test plans \& test cases in Test Rail, Zephyr Scale.
Knowledge/experience of OO Programming languages (e.g. C#, C++, Python)
Knowledge/experience of software version control (e.g. SVN, github) and CI/CD environment (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo).
Excellent analytical \& problem-solving skills, as well as being able to 'think-outside-the-box.'
Knowledge/experience in using bug reporting tools.
Awareness of and adherence to Quality Assurance Practices
A good team player.
Good communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders, and an eye for detail.
Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic startup environment.
Self-accountable and accepts consequences of his/her actions. Demonstrates unquestionable integrity in their daily duties.
