Job Description - Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Cloud, Microservices, FinTech
We have a great opportunity for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join this high performing technology team, where smart, passionate engineers are focused on delivering scalable platforms.

About you
· You are from a development background and have found that you love engaging in the operations of live systems - everything from engaging with customers and internal client services teams, through to troubleshooting complex bugs and performance issues. You keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and practices \& you look beyond what you know to find what is possible
· You have worked in complex business domains and supported complex platforms in customer-facing environments.
What we need
· Strong software engineering, system administration, AWS (eg, EC@2, S3, ELB, ELK, API gateway, Route 53, RDS) or DevOps background.
· Experience with HashiCorp products -Terraform, Consul, Nomad and Vault
· Solid experience with AWS networking and security (PKI, Secrets management, Encryption), Infrastructure as code provisioning, IAM and Linux.
· Experience with application monitoring and log aggregation tools (Prometheus, elastic stack, Grafana).
· Microservices design and implementation of highly scalable APIs.
· Scripting/programming languages (i.e., Shell script, JavaScript, Python).
· Previous success with technical engineering, GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
· Understand how to make platforms resilient and scale appropriately.
· Understand the fundamentals of quality code, source control, continuous integration and delivery.
· A continuous improvement mindset.
· Strong interpersonal skills, drive, and ownership.
· Experience in automation and an ”automate everything” approach.
Desirable Skills
· Financial markets and trading systems experience
· Experience with Java
· ASX, CBOE or equivalent software infrastructure and connectivity knowledge
· Experience with Postgres, SQL
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
· Manage the production support and operation of the Trade Centre platform and external interfaces, ensuring optimal levels of system up time.
· Provide emergency response and technical leadership in the event of system outages or individual incidents. Conducting post-mortems, root cause analysis and problem rectification.
· Ensure comprehensive monitoring and alerting of the systems enabling fast response and correction of system issues. Including the provision live system health dashboards and reporting.
· Create scalable systems and services through automation and uplifts.
· Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
· Partner with software engineering teams to continually improve services.
· Develop and maintain supporting documentation related to technical work procedures and standards.

Pay: ₹4,000,000.00 - ₹5,000,000.00 per year
