Job Description: Java Modernization Engineer
We are looking for a skilled Java Modernization Engineer to lead the modernization of legacy Java applications into secure, scalable, and cloud-native microservices. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in legacy Java systems and hands-on experience in modern Java frameworks, cloud platforms, and CI/CD automation.
Responsibilities:
Assess, analyze, and document existing legacy Java applications to identify performance, scalability, and security gaps.
Design and develop robust microservices using modern Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Quarkus.
Execute migration of monolithic applications to microservices, applying strategies like Strangler Fig, lift-and-shift, or complete rewrites.
Integrate and deploy solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Refactor and upgrade legacy code to modern Java versions (Java 11/17/21) following best practices.
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Product teams to ensure smooth migration and delivery.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and API specifications.
Ensure adherence to software design principles (SOLID, DRY) and promote coding excellence.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for modernization and cloud adoption

Pay: ₹329,676.61 - ₹1,517,231.04 per year
