We are urgently looking for a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our growing digital team at our Andheri Sakinaka office, Mumbai. We are seeking a hands-on WordPress professional with a strong portfolio, proven industry experience, and deep expertise in custom WordPress website design and development.
This is an on-site, full-time position, and immediate joiners are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites from scratch based on client and internal requirements
Convert UI/UX designs into fully responsive WordPress websites
Build and customize websites using Elementor (Elementor Pro preferred)
Develop custom themes, layouts, and templates aligned with branding and performance goals
Configure, customize, and manage WordPress plugins for functionality, security, and performance
Ensure on-page SEO optimization including:
SEO-friendly URLs
Meta titles and descriptions
Header structure (H1–H6)
Image optimization and ALT tags
Schema basics and page speed optimization
Optimize websites for performance, speed, and Core Web Vitals
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
Debug and resolve WordPress issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts
Maintain website security, backups, and updates
Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, and content teams
Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
Required Skills \& Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a WordPress Developer
Must have successfully completed at least 25 WordPress websites
Strong expertise in WordPress CMS, including backend and frontend development
Advanced experience with Elementor / Elementor Pro
Hands-on experience with popular WordPress plugins (SEO, security, caching, forms, eCommerce, etc.)
Complete and practical knowledge of On-Page SEO for WordPress
Proficiency in:
HTML5
CSS3
JavaScript / jQuery
PHP
MySQL
Strong understanding of custom WordPress theme development
Experience in customizing plugins and themes
Ability to independently handle end-to-end WordPress projects
Strong attention to detail and design aesthetics
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Experience with WooCommerce development
Knowledge of website performance optimization tools
Familiarity with Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights
Understanding of UI/UX best practices
Experience working in a digital agency environment
