Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a

Java Developer

for a

Contract

job with a client in

Pittsburgh, PA(Hybrid)

. The ideal candidate must have strong Java skills and experience in application development. Responsibilities include writing efficient code and collaborating with teams.

Rate Range:

$50/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Developer Job Responsibilities Include

Developing and maintaining Java applications.

Writing efficient, reusable, and reliable code.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams on software design.

Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Ensuring code quality through testing and reviews.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of Java development experience.

Strong knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.

Experience with RESTful API development.

Proficiency in version control systems like Git.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Pay Details:

$50.00 to $65.00 per hour
