Overview:
At Algoseek, we are seeking a talented Python Developer with strong SQL expertise and basic DevOps knowledge to join our engineering team. You will play a key role in extending and maintaining a scalable, distributed OLAP database solution based on open-source engines. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative data synchronization systems and APIs powering our financial data platform.

Responsibilities:
Develop robust Python scripts to manage internal database files and synchronize client database machines with centralized data storage.
Design and implement APIs for data synchronization logic using
FastAPI
.
Contribute to the development of scalable and distributed OLAP database solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Work with AWS services such as EC2 and S3 to support deployment and storage requirements.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Participate in code reviews and share technical knowledge with team members
Skills and Qualifications:
4+ years of professional experience in Python development.
Strong SQL skills with experience in database administration.
Familiarity with basic DevOps practices and tools.
Hands-on experience with API development using
FastAPI
or similar frameworks.
Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3) is preferred.
Experience with version control systems (Git).
