About The Role
Allego is seeking a Software Engineer to help with developing an in-house energy trading platform. The role is primarily engineering-driver and involves:
Implementing and maintaining incoming and outgoing data flows with external energy partners.
Being comfortable implementing new protocols and integrations (APIs, FTP, VPN, connection with certificates...).
Owning the full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, development, testing, deployments and production support.
Designing and maintaining the technical architecture of the platform.
Working closely with operations to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions.
This role requires you to be able to visit our office in Paris one day a week.

You have more than 5 years experience in Python, but being highly skilled in C++ or Rust could also work;
You are familiar with MySQL;
You have experience with the Linux environment;
You are able to visit our office in Paris once a week;
You take ownership of your work, you do not only design and create, you also test;
You are fluent in English and French.
