About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
DevOps Engineer
to join our growing technology team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and container orchestration. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment, reliability, and scalability of applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation / Ansible).
Configure and manage containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Monitor system performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous delivery and DevOps best practices.
Enhance automation to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency.
Required Skills \& Experience
5–8 years of DevOps or related experience.
Strong hands-on experience with
Kubernetes
,
Docker
, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
Solid understanding of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with monitoring/logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch.
Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell).
Knowledge of networking, security, and Linux fundamentals.
Experience with version control systems (Git).
