Your Responsibilities
Youâll design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines across on-premise data lakes and Azure Synapse Analytics.
In this role, youâll write and optimize production-grade SQL and PySpark code to support scalable analytics and reporting.
Youâll automate ETL workflows and operational processes using Power Automate.
Youâll prepare analytics-ready datasets and translate findings into business-relevant insights.
Youâll apply AI approaches, including agentic and generative AI, to improve pipeline efficiency, monitoring, and reliability.
Youâll collaborate with business and analytics partners, clearly communicating data concepts, limitations, and insights.
Youâll contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and mentor peers within the team.
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics-focused data roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, including SQL, PySpark, and Power Automate.
Proven expertise in building automated data pipelines in hybrid environments.
Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, and insight generation.
Experience applying AI within data engineering workflows.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
A proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership.
Nice to Have
Experience with KNIME Analytics or similar low-code analytics tools.
Exposure to Power BI or enterprise reporting platforms.
Experience supporting AI-assisted analytics or advanced automation use cases.
Background working within reporting-heavy, business-embedded analytics teams.

Our typical hiring range is between $65,000 and $106,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements
