Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong technical background in electrical engineering, power electronics, and drive systems to manage and drive product initiatives in the eMobility, rail, and heavy vehicle markets. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams, customers, and global R\&D to define product strategy, consolidate requirements, and deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
5 days on-site in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
Own the product lifecycle from requirements gathering to commercialization for electrical systems, motors, drives, and energy storage solutions.
Collect and analyze customer feedback to define product features and enhancements.
Work closely with internal cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, R\&D) to prioritize the product backlog and coordinate releases.
Provide technical and commercial support to customers during commissioning, testing, and implementation.
Conduct market and competitor analyses to support strategic product decisions.
Identify opportunities for product upgrades and innovation in collaboration with global Product Management and R\&D.
Represent the product in customer meetings, technical workshops, and industry events.
Profile Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (Master’s preferred).
7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, technical sales, or product management within power electronics, motors, or eMobility systems.
Strong understanding of electric drive trains, variable frequency/speed drives, and traction control systems.
Familiarity with eMobility, rail, and off-road vehicle applications.
Proven experience managing product backlogs, customer requirements, and technical proposals.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English) with the ability to translate technical concepts into business solutions.
U.S. citizen/ Green Card
