DESCRIPTION

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

As we continue our rapid growth in Vietnam, we are seeking an exceptional Account Manager to drive strategic relationships with two of our key manufacturing and automotive accounts.

In this high-impact role, you will own and execute the go-to-market strategy for these strategic accounts, working directly with C-suite executives and key decision-makers to drive digital transformation and innovation. You will be responsible for developing deep, strategic relationships that position AWS as the preferred cloud and AI technology provider, while driving significant revenue growth, cloud and AI adoption.

Key job responsibilities

Strategic Leadership \& Revenue Growth

Drive C-suite relationships and strategic engagement across assigned enterprise accounts in manufacturing/automotive sector

Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies aligned with customers' digital transformation goals

Lead complex enterprise sales cycles, consistently delivering against ambitious revenue targets

Create and maintain strategic account plans with clear ROI metrics and business outcomes

Technical \& Partnership Excellence

Orchestrate cross-functional teams including solution architects, professional services, and partners

Guide customers through technical decision-making, from architecture design to implementation

Foster strong relationships with system integrators and technology partners

Maintain deep understanding of AWS services and their application in manufacturing/automotive use cases

Account Management \& Development

Own the end-to-end customer journey from engagement through expansion

Build and maintain a robust customer reference program to accelerate AWS adoption

Structure and negotiate complex enterprise agreements that deliver mutual value

Drive technical engagement between customer IT leadership and AWS technical teams

Regular Day-to-Day:

Meeting with customer executives to understand their business challenges and show how AWS can solve them

Mapping out practical cloud and AI adoption strategies that deliver real business value

Leading deal negotiations and keeping revenue growth on track

Working with technical teams to turn plans into reality

Building strong relationships at all levels of the customer organization

Going Above and Beyond:

Becoming the trusted voice for cloud transformation in Vietnam's manufacturing sector

- Getting hands-on when needed - from technical discussions to strategic planning

Helping shape how we approach the manufacturing industry in Vietnam

Sharing your knowledge and experience with the broader team

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in business, technology, or related field

5+ years of enterprise sales or account management experience

Experience building and managing C-level customer relationships

Professional proficiency in both English and Vietnamese

Experience selling technology solutions to enterprise customers

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or related industries

Knowledge of cloud computing technologies and services

History of managing complex, long-cycle enterprise deals

Experience working with system integrators and technology partners

MBA or relevant advanced degree
