Key job responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, reliable developer infrastructure services
Enhance continuous integration and deployment pipelines
Develop APIs that improve developer productivity and software quality
Create high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code
Collaborate across teams to understand and deliver comprehensive solutions
Mentor junior engineers and participate in collaborative code reviews
Proactively identify and resolve complex technical challenges

Our work touches hundreds of engineers across the United States and Mexico, driving the technological backbone of Amazon's Device OS platform. We value creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of non-internship Professional software development experience
Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, Python, Ruby, Kotlin, C++, C#, Rust, etc.)
Experience with backend services or developer tools
Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices
Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools
Experience with source control management systems
Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal communication)
Strong collaborative and communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree in computer science
Full software development lifecycle experience
Expertise in build processes, testing, and operational workflows
Experience with distributed system design
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and scalable architectures
