Job Title: Lead Java / J2EE Developer
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Java / J2EE Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications. The candidate will evaluate new technologies, update existing systems, and provide technical guidance within the project teams. This role requires collaboration across multiple teams in different locations and time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and recommend new technologies; update versions of existing systems.
Perform program design, development, and code management.
Assist in developing and managing architecture governance processes.
Provide technical guidance to project teams as needed.
Collaborate with multiple teams across different locations and time zones.
Design reusable frameworks, including environment management and layout design.
Investigate production issues and provide effective solutions.
Conduct unit, integration, and parallel testing.
Analyze existing programs, job flows, and components to ensure optimization.
Develop and document frameworks for integration and implementation of technical standards.
Review, test, and debug team members’ work.
Develop server-side components and troubleshoot issues to improve system stability and performance.
Understand business and functional requirements to guide development activities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Strong development skills in Core / Advanced Java and J2EE.
Hands-on experience with Spring frameworks (MVC, IOC, Boot, Batch) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
Strong in REST \& SOAP API development.
Experience with JMS/Messaging and middleware technologies such as IBM MQ or Apache Kafka.
Hands-on experience with Oracle \& SQL, including query optimization and fine-tuning.
Familiarity with tools like Bamboo, Jira, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins/Hudson, and Rally.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of design patterns and technical documentation.
Understanding of Microservices architecture, XSD, XML, and WSDL.
Ability to quickly comprehend and apply new technologies to improve products/services.
