DevOps Engineer

Location:

London (Hybrid – 2 days in office - Tuesday/Thursday)

Salary:

£55,000–£70,000 per annum + performance bonus

About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and managing scalable AWS infrastructure, building robust CI/CD pipelines, and driving automation and security best practices across the engineering function. You’ll work closely with developers, architects, and product teams to ensure smooth delivery of high-quality software. This is a hands-on role where you’ll have the freedom to suggest and implement new tools and techniques, championing modern DevOps practices and helping shape the future of the platform.

What You’ll Do

Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure.

Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable deployments.

Champion Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and GitOps principles.

Automate operational processes and improve system reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed DevOps best practices.

Monitor system performance and proactively address issues.

CI/CD:

GitHub Actions, Jenkins (or similar)

What You’ll Need

Strong AWS experience with a focus on scalability and security.

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and containerization.

Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.

Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation.

Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

A collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
