Overview
We are working with a growing technology-driven organisation seeking a
Full-Stack Developer
to join a high-performing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable, user-focused applications and working across the full development lifecycle, from frontend interfaces to backend services.
You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using
React, Node.js, and JavaScript
Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces with React
Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js
Work with RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance
Support deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of applications
Required Skills \& Experience
Commercial experience as a
Full-Stack Developer
Strong proficiency in
JavaScript
Hands-on experience with
React
(including modern hooks and component-based architecture)
Experience developing backend services using
Node.js
Solid understanding of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, browser behaviour)
Experience working with REST APIs
Familiarity with version control systems such as
Git
Understanding of software development best practices (testing, CI/CD, code reviews)
Nice to Have
Experience with TypeScript
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
Familiarity with containerisation tools such as Docker
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
