Position Overview
The Product Manager is responsible for the operational and strategic management of Arlon EMEAI’s product portfolios. This role combines full product lifecycle management with hands-on execution, supporting new product launches, line extensions, and product improvements through the Stage Gate process. The Product Manager leads or contributes to cross-functional process improvement initiatives, drives portfolio profitability and lifecycle decisions, and serves as a key point of contact for product-related inquiries, requirements, and operational support for EMEAI.
The Product Manager will work closely with Operations, Technical, R\&D, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Quality to ensure products are developed, commercialized, and maintained in alignment with company \& regional objectives.
The role will operate under a hybrid working arrangement with 2-3 days in our offices in The Hague.
Up to 15% Travel either within Europe or domestically may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Product Portfolio \& Lifecycle Management:
Manage the product line portfolios and lifecycle from development to end of life.
Maintain product data accuracy and coordinate EMEAI regional item extensions across warehouses and sales offices.
Operational Product Management \& Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Liaison with internal stakeholders as the EMEAI central point of coordination across Operations, R\&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Service, and Commercial teams to ensure continuous execution of product activities.
Lead or support process improvement projects to enhance product performance and overall operational effectiveness.
Collaborate closely with Operations and Supply Chain to identify and resolve material constraints, product changes, product shortages, or quality-related issues.
New Product Development \& Stage Gate Execution:
Execute the product roadmap and drive Stage Gate projects for timely product launch
Execute the product and technology strategy as aligned with global product portfolio strategy, defined by Product Marketing Managers.
Set up of new product codes on SAP
Update pricing and maintain EMEAI territory price list in SAP, issue PDF format price lists to customers.
Analytics, Reporting \& Decision Support:
Use data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks and recommend actions to improve product portfolio.
Customer \& Sales Support:
Serve as a product expert for internal teams; respond to product inquiries, technical questions, and special requirements
Support Sales with product knowledge, competitive insights, and product transition guidance
Requirements: Education, Skills \& Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related technical discipline - essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel—pivot tables, vlookups, data analysis)- essential
Experience in commercial graphics, labels, digital printing, adhesives, films, inks, coatings, or other materials-based industries - strongly preferred
SAP or ERP system experience - strongly preferred
5+ years of product management experience - strongly preferred
Experience with structured new product development methodologies such as Stage Gate -desirable
