About the Role
As a Project Manager in Artelia Airports based in Hong Kong office, you will join a startup environment within a multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers and architects.
The Project Manager:
is responsible for the management of assigned project/s or package in whole or in part (as the case may be required) which includes : Project Management Plans and their implementation, Monitoring and Reporting, Project Level Management Services and Support, Project Critical Issues tracking and resolution
projects to be assigned will be in the context of project management consulting, engineering design, construction primarily related to airport planning and development but also to expect non-airport related projects
Key Responsibilities
Implement project management for entire project lifecycle
Define project structure/organization to ensure effective and efficient project governance
Establish and maintain project management plans and procedures
Operate as the key client-facing project lead
Effectively guide and direct internal and external project teams to achieve technical excellence in all areas of responsibility within approved parameters of cost, time quality and program
Manage day to day communication for all concerned parties/stakeholders via writing, arranging meetings, regularly reports, etc. and lead to successful outcomes
Active monitoring project risks, changes, cost, quality and mitigate against any adverse effects
Maintain existing and develop new project tools and systems
Ensures project delivery requirements are fully translated in project documents and all requirements are complied
Expected to lead and manage others from other disciplines to review and comment on the content, design, standards, documents, specifications and other project documents to sustain a high quality of deliverables and to project an exceptional level of professionalism
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in airport management, planning and/or aviation science related fields, or in build-environment related disciplines such as project/construction management, architectural, engineering, quantity surveying, etc
10 years’ experience minimum on managing multidisciplinary engineering / consulting / construction projects, with a minimum of 3 years serving as the client-facing project lead
Airport related project experience is preferred but not a must
Able to demonstrate sound knowledge of engineering design, construction planning, facility operation, project budgeting and scheduling
Demonstrated knowledge of capital planning and assessment, cost-benefit analysis, planning and evaluation, and risk management protocols
Experienced in Project Management and Contract Management
Excellent presentation, coordination and leadership skills
Conversant with laws and regulations, international codes and standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and capable to exercise independent judgement
Capable to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team
Eager to learn with strong interest for the airport industry
Proficiency in the use of standard Microsoft Office products, Primavera P6 or MS Project
Proficient in English reading, written and spoken; ability in another language is a plus (Mandarin and/or other Asian languages are preferred)
Frequent travel to be expected
Applicants with less experience may be considered as Assistant Project Manager.
