ARYZTA, the global food company behind Cuisine de France and a great many delicious food offerings across the shops, delis, hotels and restaurants over Ireland and beyond, is seeking a self-motivated individual with a passion for food and a talent for sales to join our Foodservice Business Development Team.
We currently have an interim vacancy (approx. 12 months for maternity cover) in the South Dublin and Leinster region. Reporting to the Business Development Manager – Foodservice, the successful candidate will play a key role in consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience, achieving sales targets for the Foodservice division, and driving new business growth. This position is ideal for a commercially minded individual with a background as a chef or experience in hospitality/food and beverage, who is genuinely passionate about high-quality food.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Manage and develop new and existing food-service accounts
Maintain a call pattern with existing customers
Provide excellent customer service, product and industry knowledge
Identify and target business opportunities with new food-service accounts
Respond promptly to customer inquiries
Resolved customer issues as efficiently as possible
Continuously enhance product knowledge
Actively share insights with customers to support and drive sales growth
Offer new food solutions, concepts and product offerings to customers
Submit routine sales reports and plans
Analyse sales performance to assess trading conditions and identify key accounts for regular visits
Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as National Accounts, Finance, Marketing, and HR to achieve shared business objectives.
SKILLS \& QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
Proven experience within the Foodservice industry
Strong ability to access, analyse, and interpret sales data
Proficient in utilising sales reports to drive performance
Solid understanding of sales and margin management processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve targets
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Full, valid driving license
Proficiency in core Microsoft Office tools, e.g. Word, Outlook , Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable
Background in food retail, culinary arts, hospitality, or beverages, with the ability to communicate effectively and confidently with chefs
