Mo te tūranga \| About the Role:
No two days are the same in this role. You'll be doing everything from supporting our BAU processes, designing and building a new data model, to working on the development of our future state cloud data warehouse.
The squad you'll be joining is the
Dr Squad
in the Lend \& Protect Tribe, who look after customer experiences for home lending, insurance, and business lending. The squad has an amazing hybrid working culture, operating with the DevOps model in Agile Scrum.
In this role you will be responsible for helping lead the design, delivery, and operation of world class Business Intelligence solutions. You will help your autonomous squad drive uplift in the data capability at ASB by helping to lead the planning, implementation, and support of on-premises and cloud-based solutions that are fit for the future.
Your stakeholders will include the NextLend project, and other tribes and platforms. We work in scaled Agile, so you'll be supported for your success by your CXO, Chapter Lead, and squad members.
Mōu \|About you:
You will bring to the role at least 5 years data related experience from within a data savvy organisation.
You enjoy working within a team environment and can build and maintain effective relationships across a diverse range of customer and stakeholder groups.
You will be well versed in SQL, with active experience in working with optimising data processes in Microsoft SQL Server, experienced in ETL/ELT tools such as Wherescape RED, dbt Cloud, and IBM StreamSets, and Cloud Data Warehousing platforms like Snowflake.
You will have demonstrable experience in designing, building, and migrating data warehouses in a regulated enterprise environment using industry best practices.
You keep up to date with industry developments, continuously upskill in new technologies, and have expertise in data warehouse design like Kimball methodology and modern data architecture principles like Data Mesh.
