\\\ About the Role \\\
Job Title: Golang Developer
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain high\-performance backend applications using Golang.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
Leverage AWS cloud services for scalable deployments and infrastructure management.
Collaborate with cross\-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and front\-end engineers.
Participate in code reviews, system architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex backend issues.
Required Skills:
7\+ years of backend development experience, with 4\+ years of focused expertise in Golang.
Solid experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its core services (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.).
Proven track record in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Microservices Architecture and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in sprint\-based development cycles.
Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid Role; Needs to work 3 days from Office in a week). Can consider for Richmond, VA location as well.
Salary Range:
The salary for this position is between $120,000– $130,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
