Key Responsibilities
Solution Engineering: Design and develop solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and modern SharePoint (including SPFx as a nice-to-have).
Platform Reliability and Performance: Ensure optimum performance, stability, and security of multiple systems supporting Finance and Science, providing workarounds, root-cause analysis, and permanent fixes.
AI Enablement: Evaluate and implement AI capabilities across the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform AI Builder, and agent-based automation.
Support and Operations: Provide 2nd/3rd line support for applications and platforms, including incident/task/change/release management aligned to AstraZeneca standards.
Ownership and Escalation: Take end-to-end ownership of issues and deliveries through resolution or escalation, maintaining clear communication and documentation.
Integration and Data: Build integrations using Power Platform connectors, custom connectors, Graph API, SharePoint REST, and manage data models in Dataverse and SQL.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with business stakeholders, product owners, infra/middleware teams, and 3rd-party vendors to resolve issues, prioritize backlog, and identify process improvements.
Essential Experience (Must Have)
Power Platformproficiency: Hands-on experience with Power Apps (canvas and/or model-driven), Power Automate flows, Dataverse schema design, security roles, and environment management.
Modern SharePoint: Experience with SharePoint Online from an application perspective (sites, lists, libraries, permissions, REST/Graph API); SPFx exposure is a plus but not mandatory.
AI awareness: Understanding of AI capabilities in Microsoft 365 (Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Builder) and ability to scope, design, or support AI-enabled solutions; experience with agent-based automations is desirable.
Web fundamentals: Working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS for customizing Power Platform and modern SharePoint experiences.
Support discipline: Strong grasp of incident, problem, change, and release management processes; experience running production support for business-critical applications.
Integration and APIs: Experience building solutions with standard Power Platform connectors, custom connectors, Graph/REST APIs, and basic SQL/data handling.
Documentation and governance: Ability to document solutions, configurations, runbooks, and maintain alignment to enterprise standards and compliance.
Supplementary Experience (Nice to Have)
SPFx development: Experience with SPFx, React, Fluent UI, and SharePoint PnP libraries.
