Automatic Systems is currently looking for a Product Manager.
Function
As a Group Product Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and optimizing the product strategy for the division. Working in close collaboration with the Marketing Director, you will lead a cross-functional team responsible for the management and continuous improvement of the product portfolio.
Your responsibilities will span from maximizing the profitability of existing products to developing new offerings. You will also focus on enhancing product documentation, refining pricing strategies, and strengthening sales support tools.
You will drive the end-to-end process of product optimization and new product launches, ensuring that our portfolio remains competitive, relevant, and aligned with market needs.
Role
Develop and execute the strategic and operational product strategy for Automatic Systems’ products
Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
Oversee the entire product life cycle (PLC) from strategy to implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Manage the product portfolio while considering the product life cycle and market positioning.
Conduct market intelligence research on consumer trends, pricing strategies, and competitive landscape,
Support the sales team by effectively highlighting and promoting the key selling points of the product portfolio.
Enhance brand awareness and ensure strong product recognition across markets.
Improve product documentation and create tools to support the Sales Team globally
Initiate new product development and act as a liaison between various departments (Marketing, R\&D, Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales) to facilitate the implementation of product strategies
Profile
Engineering degree with product (marketing) management experience or marketing degree with strong technical background
5+ years’ experience in successful product management.
Fluent in French and English
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Proven leadership capabilities to drive product strategies and lead key initiatives with impact
Proficient in project and stakeholder management
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Hands-on and solutions-oriented
Ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate among multiple departments
Ability to adapt fast to new products, technologies and markets
Collaborative and team-focused approach
You must be prepared to travel at least 20% of your working time
