Development and evaluation of algorithms for 3D tracking of multiple UAVs
Development of a modular sensor fusion system and integration of hardware
Close collaboration with computer vision and acoustics to utilize their detections
Quality assurance of the entire tracking pipeline and monitoring of current research
Your profileMust have:
Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics or a comparable field
Relevant experience with C++, ideally in complex systems
Experience with math/optimization frameworks such as Eigen, Ceres or GTSAM
Knowledge of ROS or ROS2
Experience with OpenCV or comparable image processing
Structured, clean programming and focus on software quality
Nice to have:* Experience with Rust
Experience with sensor fusion, tracking or SLAM
Experience with real-time or embedded systems
Meta:* Intrinsic motivation and willingness to go the extra mile, as well as attention to detail
Creativity that thinks outside the box as well as conceptual and systematic design thinking and disciplined execution
