Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer - Web and Application to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications with a focus on both front-end and back-end technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, web development, and IT infrastructure, with experience working in Agile environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and secure web solutions utilizing modern frameworks and cloud services.
Duties
Develop, test, and deploy robust web applications using technologies such as JavaScript, React, Express, and Ruby on Rails.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs to enhance application functionality.
Manage server-side logic, database interactions (MySQL, SQL, C#, Java), and ensure high performance across platforms.
Maintain version control using tools like GitHub, Git, and SVN while adhering to best practices in code management.
Collaborate within an Agile development environment to plan sprints, review code, and improve workflows.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
Work with IT infrastructure components including Linux, Windows Server, and cloud services to support deployment pipelines.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation to ensure code quality standards are met.
Stay updated on emerging technologies such as Quantum engineering concepts where applicable, to innovate solutions for complex problems.
Qualifications
Proven experience in full-stack web development with proficiency in JavaScript, React, Express, and frameworks like Ruby on Rails or similar.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and API integration techniques.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization tools is preferred.
Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or equivalent relational databases.
Knowledge of programming languages including Python, C++, C#, Java, and scripting languages like VBA is advantageous.
Experience working within an Agile environment using tools like GitHub, Git, or SVN for version control.
Understanding of IT infrastructure components including network security (RBAC), Linux systems, application deployment pipelines, and API management.
Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
