About The Role Avesta is expanding rapidly, and we are looking for an experienced Manager of Distribution Network to lead the growth and optimization of our distribution network for Lithium battery energy storage solutions. In this role, you will oversee and guide a team of Business Developers responsible for establishing and expanding distribution channels across various regions. Your leadership will be key in ensuring the efficient operation of our distribution network and the achievement of our commercial objectives.
You will work closely with regional teams, internal departments (technical, product, marketing), and external stakeholders to create a robust, efficient, and scalable distribution network. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of both the energy storage market and distribution logistics.
Mission
As Manager of Distribution Network, your primary mission is to build, manage, and optimize Avesta’s distribution network for Lithium battery energy storage solutions. You will lead a team of Business Developers to identify, establish, and nurture relationships with potential distributors. Your leadership will ensure that business developers effectively engage with partners, grow the network, and meet sales and distribution targets.
You will collaborate with senior leadership to refine the distribution strategy, ensuring it aligns with Avesta’s growth objectives and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the establishment and growth of new distribution channels across multiple regions.
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Business Developers to ensure they meet distribution network targets.
Develop and execute a strategic plan for expanding and optimizing the distribution network, aligning with Avesta’s commercial objectives.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key distribution partners to ensure mutual success.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activities to keep the distribution network competitive.
Monitor and report on the performance of the distribution network, ensuring KPIs such as sales volume and market penetration are met.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in distribution management, channel sales, or business development, ideally within the energy storage, electrical systems, or related industries.
Proven experience in leading teams and successfully setting up and expanding distribution networks across multiple regions.
Skills
Leadership \& Team Management: Ability to lead, motivate, and guide a team of Business Developers to achieve commercial and distribution targets.
Negotiation \& Communication: Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages relevant to the regions of operation (e.g., Spanish, German, French) is a plus.
Frequent travel within the designated territories and to Avesta headquarters will be required for face-to-face meetings, partner development, and network expansion.
