Oversee the enterprise Data Platform and AI Factory: data engineering, MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and ongoing performance optimization.
Collaborate with Solution Delivery, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient data and AI platforms.
Establish a strong delivery governance framework for data and AI — defining standards, sprint cadence, quality gates, and delivery metrics.
Prioritize and manage the Data \& AI project portfolio, balancing strategic priorities with delivery capacity and operational readiness.
Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional team of data engineers, ML engineers, data scientists, and delivery managers.
Ensure alignment with the CIO, Solution Delivery Director, and business sponsors for prioritization, value tracking, and risk management.
Oversee DataOps and MLOps practices, ensuring model lifecycle governance, performance monitoring, retraining, and reliability.

Promote adoption of delivered AI and data capabilities within business applications, driving measurable business outcomes.
Support the CIO in vendor strategy, technology selection, and capability sourcing for data and AI technologies.
Act as the escalation point for major delivery risks, issues, or dependencies across data and AI programs.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in AI, data science, or advanced analytics within large, complex enterprise environments. Proven track record in leading enterprise-wide AI transformation programs, preferably within the financial services, insurance, or technology sectors.
Extensive experience with AI/ML model development, deployment, and MLOps on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
