Key Responsibilities
Backend \& Microservices Development
Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Build clean, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
Implement service-to-service communication and ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
Follow domain-driven design and microservices best practices.
Database \& Data Management
Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and indexes.
Ensure data integrity, performance tuning, and transactional consistency.
Work with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate / JPA.
Quality, Performance \& Security
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following coding standards.
Implement unit tests, integration tests, and API tests.
Ensure application security, performance optimization, and error handling.
Collaboration \& Delivery
Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and solution architects.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes in cloud or containerized environments.
Required Skills \& Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and REST API design.
Experience working with PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and SQL optimization.
Experience with version control systems (Git).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to messaging systems (Kafka).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of security standards .
