Our client is a Global asset management firm with multi-strategy hedge fund who are looking for a
DevOps Engineer
to architect, develop, and maintain internal cloud platform across AWS/GCP.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with research/trading teams to take part in designing, building and supporting infrastructure and software solutions to meet requirements for production ready code. You should be a strong self-starter, able to take initiative to build systems and provide user support impacting front office / business trading flows and research capabilities!
You will be responsible for:
Becoming the go-to person for delivering on-premises and cloud based services, configuring monitoring tools through automation primarily on Terraform and Ansible. Supporting trading and research platforms on different OS environments (either Windows or Linux).
Develop tools to improve the ability to monitor the environment and solutons for customer in AWS/GCP.
Develop functional tests, have experience designing and implementing CI/CD tools with IaC pipelines and Linux system administration, containerization \& orchestration, networking, security,
Requirements:
Minimum of 3+ years experience designing and supporting production cloud environments on AWS/GCP.
Good understanding and strong knowledge in understanding of setting up and implementing containerization solutions via Docker/Kubernetes
Ability to prioritize and juggle between tasks in a fast-paced team, with great analytical skills and attention to detail to understand needs from the business.
Excellent written and verbal communications with a great personality to face off to front-office stakeholders directly.
