We’re Hiring: Java Developer (Low-Latency Trading Systems)

Singapore \| On-site

You’ll be part of a front-office aligned engineering team delivering

sub-microsecond trading systems

, working closely with traders, sales, and senior technology leaders to evolve a flagship low-latency platform.

What You’ll Do

Design, develop, and enhance

industry-leading low-latency equities trading systems

Own end-to-end delivery across multiple workstreams, from design to production

Act as a

key technical point of contact

for front-office stakeholders, providing estimates and solution designs

Build highly reliable systems with rigorous simulation, testing, and performance tuning

Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making

Support production releases and resolve post-deployment issues

Mentor and guide junior engineers, setting technical standards across the team

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills

Strong experience in

Java

, with a focus on

low-latency, high-throughput systems

(e.g.

Connectivity, OMS, Market Access

etc.)

Proven expertise in

multi-threaded Java development

, performance tuning, and Linux environments

Solid understanding of

data structures, algorithms

, and core computer science principles

Experience working in

regional and global engineering teams

Scripting experience (Python, Perl, or similar)

Nice to Have

Background in

investment banking or electronic trading

Deep knowledge of

networks, operating systems, or computer architecture

Experience with

C++ or FPGA-related technologies

(Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL)

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
