We're seeking a Jira \& DevOps Administrator with 5-8 years of experience to oversee our Jira instance, manage \& optimize our business applications’ CI/CD pipelines. This dual-focused role requires a candidate who can bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring smooth, automated workflows while also possessing strong administrative skills to maintain and customize our Jira and Confluence environments to ensure our teams can work efficiently.

Key Responsibilities JiraJira \& Confluence Administration: Serve as the primary administrator for our Jira and Confluence instances, including user management, permissions, workflows, integrations and security.Workflow \& Process Optimization: Design, implement, and maintain custom workflows, schemes, and automation rules to support various cross-functional teams and projects.Performance \& Health Monitoring: Monitor the health, performance, and scalability of our Atlassian applications. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise.Plugin Management \& Integration: Evaluate, install, and manage Jira and Confluence add-ons and integrations with other tools.User Support \& Training: Provide expert support to end-users, create documentation, and conduct training sessions to ensure effective use of the tools.Maintenance \& Upgrades: Plan and execute regular maintenance, backups, and upgrades for our Jira and Confluence instances. DevOpsCI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a variety of applications, including Salesforce, NetSuite, Snowflake, Data.world, Tableau, and AWS services.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize tools to manage and provision infrastructure on cloud platforms, primarily AWS.Automation: Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement and maintain monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of our applications and infrastructure.Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to understand their needs and provide technical support. GeneralProcess Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve our DevOps practices and Jira workflows to enhance productivity and collaboration.Work Schedule: Primary work schedule is the EMEA time zone shift, but will be determined based on team’s overall coverage needs to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with resources in the U.S. and India.Required Skills and QualificationsExperience: Combined experience of 5+ years in Jira \& DevOps admin role with a strong background in administering and scaling Jira instances across business units and enterprises of 1000+ users and managing CI/CD pipelines. oJira \& Confluence Expertise: Deep knowledge of Jira Core, Jira Software, and Jira Service Management. Proficiency with Confluence administration and the integration of Confluence spaces with Jira projects.

oWorkflow Design and Reporting: Proven experience in designing and implementing complex workflows and various schemes – screens, permissions, notifications, along with experience constructing custom reports and dashboards.

oAgile Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks.

oScripting \& Automation: Experience with Jira automation features and familiarity with scripting languages like Groovy and JQL is a must.

oPlugins: Working knowledge of operating and supporting important Atlassian plugins such as Adaptavist Script runner or similar plugins. DevOps

oDevOps Tools: Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub, AWS CodePipeline, etc.

oAutomation, Orchestration and Monitoring: Proficiency with tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, NewRelic, etc.

oCloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).

oVersion Control: Expert in using Git for version control.

oTesting: Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium.

oScripting: Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Ruby, Bash, etc.

oSaaS Applications: Experience managing deployments for SaaS applications like Salesforce and NetSuite is a must.

oData Platforms: Experience with CI/CD for data platforms is a must, including Snowflake, Tableau, and Data.world.

oInfrastructure as Code: Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. General

oProblem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.

oCommunication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

oCommunication: Experience creating knowledge resources for technical and non-technical users.Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related fieldCertifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect, Atlassian Certified Professional, etc.
